Visit Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area (approx. 4 hours)

Depart from Siguniang Mountain
Arrival at Jiaju Tibetan Village in Danba (H:2200M) (approx. 3 hours)

DAY3 Jiaju Tibetan Village – Moshi Park – Xinduqiao

Visit Jiaju Tibetan Village (H:2000M), one of the three most beautiful villages in the world (approx. 1 hour)

Transfer by vehicle to Bamei Town (approx. 3 hours)
Visit the beautiful Bamei Village

After lunch, visit Moshi Park (H:3500M) (approx. 2–3 hours)

Depart Moshi Park (approx. 30 minutes)
Arrival at Tagong Grassland (H:3700M)
Transfer to Xinduqiao (H:3460M) (approx. 30 minutes)

DAY4 Litang – Tianlu 18 Bends – Shangri-La Town
After breakfast, drive to the “City in the Sky” Litang (approx. 4 hours)

Arrival in Litang (H:3460M) and lunch
▶ Visit Letong Ancient Town Tibetan Village (H:4014M)

Depart Litang and transfer to Shangri-La Town (H:2980M) (approx. 4 hours)
▶ Arrival in Shangri-La Town and dinner

DAY5 Jialuo Village – Wanhua Lake Camp

Arrival at Pusa Cave (H:3500M), then ride horses to Manchuo Pasture (8 km)

Arrival at Wanhua Lake Camp, dinner and rest (H:4200M) (11 km)

DAY6 Zhabarla Pass – Xingguo Pasture
Watch sunrise and depart for Zhabarla Pass (12 km) (approx. 6 hours)

Arrival at Xingguo Pasture (H:4300M)
Camping overnight

DAY7 Heihu Pass – West Lake Camp
Depart Xingguo Pasture on horseback (approx. 13 km)

Viewpoint of Gongduolamu Mountain (4600m), visited by Joseph Rock

☞ Cross West Lake Pass (H:4730M)

Camping at the beautiful West Lake Camp (H:4500M)

DAY8 Songduo Pass – Chonggu Temple – Shangri-La
After breakfast, depart on horseback (approx. 5 km)

☞ Cross Songduo Pass (5 km, H:4880M) on horseback (approx. 1.5 hours)

☞ Walk downhill to visit Five Color Lake (H:4700M) (approx. 30 minutes)

Walk 0.5 km downhill to visit Milk Lake (H:4600M) (approx. 10 minutes)

Walk 5 km downhill to Luorong Pasture (H:4150M) (approx. 1 hour)

Lunch – packed meal

Take an electric cart to Chonggu Grassland (H:3880M) (6 km, approx. 10 minutes)

Walk to visit Chonggu Temple (H:3950M) (500 m, approx. 30 minutes)

Visit Pearl Lake (H:4100M) (1.5 km, round trip approx. 2 hours)

Visit Zhaguan Cliff Scenic Area (“End of the Cliff”) (H:3800M, approx. 0.5 km walk)

Take a bus to the Visitor Center (approx. 50 minutes)
Transfer by bus to hotel (H:2980M) (approx. 30 minutes)

Visit Kazila Mountain viewpoint (H:4781M) during the journey (approx. 4 hours)

Visit Zheduo Mountain viewpoint (H:4298M) – prayer flag ceremony (approx. 3.5 hours)

Arrival in Kangding (H:2580M) and hotel check-in
